About Jordan — Budget Travel Photographer Based in Southern Oregon
I’m Jordan, the photographer behind JJ Everitt Photography. I’m based in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where access to diverse landscapes makes exploration part of daily life. My work centers on Pacific Northwest photography, with a strong focus on southern Oregon, outdoor spaces, and the quieter side of travel.
I am not a professional travel photographer with unlimited resources. I am someone actively building a creative life through photography and exploration while documenting the entire process in real time.
This project started as a way to manage anxiety, curiosity, and restlessness through movement and observation. Over time, it became a record of what happens when you stop waiting for ideal conditions.
I travel primarily by road, using a simple camera setup and a stripped-down approach. Food is basic. Routes are flexible. Mistakes are expected. The work reflects reality rather than performance.
Learning in isolation limits growth. Sharing the process creates accountability, clarity, and connection. Everything here is offered as a peer-to-peer resource, not expert instruction. If you are learning photography, trying to travel affordably, or questioning the curated narratives dominating travel culture, you are the intended audience.
This work continues through direct support from the people who find value in it. You can help sustain the project by purchasing photo prints, supporting on Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee, or sharing the work with others who need a more realistic entry point into travel and photography.
This site includes free educational blog content, personal essays, photography resources, and visual work available for purchase. You can also subscribe to the newsletter to receive monthly insights, behind-the-scenes reflections, and practical ideas delivered directly to your inbox.
