This blog is where photography and reflection come together. It’s a space for documenting and sharing some of the creative process. This is where the photographs turn into stories—or sometimes where the stories come first.

You'll find a little bit of everything here: places I've wandered into, people I've encountered, photography experiments, observations about everyday life, outdoor adventures, local discoveries, thoughts that wouldn't leave me alone, and whatever else happens to seem interesting at the time.

Some posts might explain the story behind a photograph. Others might be about a place. Some may be thoughtful. Some may be strange. Some may be completely unnecessary but entertaining.

That's okay.

This isn't a travel guide, a news publication, or a perfectly organized collection of expertise.

It's a journal.

A running record of things I've seen, places I've been, questions I've had, and moments I didn't want to forget. The Pacific Northwest provides plenty of material.

More Than Just Images

Photography doesn’t exist in a vacuum. This blog adds context to the images by sharing why certain places matter, how conditions shaped a shot, or what didn’t go as planned. It’s meant to inspire people to get off their phones and get outside. I want to encourage you to travel without the pressure of perfection; just get out and have fun!

Everything here is shared openly. The goal is to build a growing archive of Pacific Northwest photography, travel experiences, and practical insights. If you’re interested in hidden gems, process-driven work, or thoughtful exploration, this space is built for that.

While most of this is primarily a free educational platform, I also offer focused services designed to support the project. This space was created through experimentation, failure, and rebuilding. Everything shared here comes from lived experience.
